Contributions to Psychological Research may be submitted in Bulgarian or in English. The papers are accepted for publication after blind peer review in double blind system, e.g. the procedure presumes double anonymity (author and reviewer). This reduces the subjective factor, ensures the objectivity of the evaluation and the quality of published material. The review forms are kept in the editorial archive within 5 years.

The main criteria for evaluation of the quality of the articles are: correspondence to the theme of the journal, respect to the formal technical requirements, value of the submitted article in comparison to the contemporary literature as a significance of the presented material, originality of the research, experimental design, data quality, discussion and conclusions.

Standards of editorial ethics in conformity with the international standards recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (http://publicationethics.org/) are applied in peer reviewing, publishing and respect for copyright rights.

Signed articles are the responsibility of the authors. Views expressed in them do not necessarily reflect the views of the Editorial Board and the IPHS-BAS.
