EDITORIAL
This issue is a collection of academic papers published within the framework of Project КП-06-Н35/4 “Psychological determinants of young people’s attitudes to emigration and life planning in the context of demographic challenges in Bulgaria”, funded by the “Competition for Funding Fundamental Research – 2019” of the Bulgarian National Science Fund, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria; implemented by the Department of Psychology, Institute for Population and Human Studies – Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IPHS-BAS); December 2019 – December 2023. The collection of papers presents conference proceedings published in the context of the Interdisciplinary Scientific Hybrid Conference with International Participation “MIGRATION, CULTURAL DIVERSITY AND LIFE PROSPECTS UNDER CONDITIONS OF GLOBAL CRISIS”, November 24-25th, 2022, Sofia, Bulgaria.
The issue is dedicated to interdisciplinary research on the latest global trends in migration and mobility on the societal, community and individual level through the lens of both underlying and resulting complex sociopsychological and socioeconomic phenomena - determinants and consequences of emigration attitudes and migration behaviour; ethno-cultural diversity, ethno-national and multiple identities; intergroup contacts and interethnic/inter-cultural relations; lifestyles, living standards and life prospects of migrants and populations of both sending and receiving countries.
